February Fly Out From Estevan

So the weather looks great for Saturday and the February fly out is a go. I am planning on going Saturday morning, who would be interested in coming?

Right now the loose plan is to meet up somewhere with another pilot (Greg Wock) who is ice fishing with his plane on Lake Diefenbaker this week and then flying back to Estevan together on Saturday. No firm destination just going to explore and have fun!

So the plan is we will be heading North West from Estevan towards Weyburn for touch and go, then continue NW depending on weather and snow conditions maybe a touch and go in Central Butte (runway looks good from pictures sent from town foreman), fly over Lake Diefenbaker, and maybe Lucky Lake. We can have a lunch in any stop anywhere we want either Central Butte, Lucky Lake, or Moose Jaw before heading back South. If people know of open runways along the way let me know and we can do touch and go on them as well.

It will be a quick day trip to a few out of the way stops most of us don’t go to often. Anyone and any type of airplane that would like to join us is welcome. Call or text me if you’re coming Richard @ 306-421-9459
